Haliburton County is moving ahead with planned road work.
A section of Little Hawk Lake Road in Algonquin Highlands, will be closed starting May 19.
The Little Hawk Lake Road Bridge will be replaced, with the work expected to take approximately 5 weeks to complete.
Travellers must use the Braeloch Road route to access beyond #1705 Little Hawk Lake Road, during the construction.
The bridge replacement is part of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, announced in the spring 2019, with the almost $2,000,000 price tag being split between the federal, provincial and municipal governments.
