The Fort Irwin Cottage and Garden Centre is not going to open on the May long weekend, or at all this season.
Owner Barb Hammond posted on FaceBook that “purchasing flowers and other plant materials curb-side, is a difficult way to conduct business”. She also says she “cannot safely protect the products in the retail store, which ultimately will affect the safety of all of the customers and staff”.
They will provide pick up and deliveries of their bulk material, but the times and days will be limited. Call 905-434-9257 or 705-754-1572 and leave a message.
