Haliburton Highlands Land Trust are offering Land Trust Discovery Days and monthly “My Backyard” challenges online, beginning May 9.
HHLT challenge anyone to go and explore their backyard or favourite outdoor place, following social distancing rules, and send photos of birds, butterflies and insects that fly. Photos can be added to the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust ’Facebook May and June challenges post’ , or email them to [email protected].
At the end of the challenges, Super Sleuth winners will be announced.
The first online program will be Bird Boxes with Thom Lambert. Thom will film installing a bird box and HHLT will post some bird box patterns online, so anyone can build one.
The video will be posted to haliburtonlandtrust.ca later in May.
