It’s Therapeutic Touch week and the Therapeutic Touch Network is partnering with the Haliburton County Public Library to deliver helpful tips for self-care, online.
The network wants to provide a basic tool to help people cope in this difficult time and other times of stress.
On Thursday, May 14 at 11 am, there will be a FaceBook live event, that will be posted on their website and run until the end of the week.
Manager of Resident Programmes at Extendicare Haliburton Kathy DeCarlo, will be on the video, describing the benefits that she observes when long term care residents receive Therapeutic Touch. Viewers can also discover how valuable it can be for you and your loved ones during these trying times.
