Algonquin Highlands council is adding more items to their budget for 2015. At a recent council meeting, they heard from the Muskoka Watershed Council who is asking for one thousand dollars for developing environmental education materials. Another presentation on the Lake of Bays Economic Development Projects is asking council for five thousand dollars to fund projects in places like Dorset and Oxtongue Lake. Council voted to take these requests to the table when they finalize the 2015 budget.
