News Haliburton Zombie Walk plans for second year already SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Wednesday, Dec. 17th, 2014 Alex Bell is already planning for changes at next year’s Zombie Walk in the village of Haliburton. He approached council recently saying the first one this year was a success even though they didn’t get the numbers they were hoping for. Deputy-Reeve Andrea Roberts said she was happy to see all of the families that came out. Bell said they raised three thousand dollars in cash, along with three thousand dollars’ worth of food. Councilor Susan Norcross said she didn’t think the event was worth it and that she was almost against it. Reeve Murray Fearrey disagreed, saying it was a special event that helps bring people to town.
