Haliburton County Director of Public Works Doug Ray is optimistic about their application for funding. It’s for Head Lake Bridge after an engineer’s assessment showed it needs to be replaced. Ray says even if they don’t get the funding, they’ll keep applying.
Treasurer Laura Janke recently told council that the repair is the number one priority in the Asset Management Plan, which will help in the application.
Staff is set to hear their answer sometime in February.
