The Haliburton County Rail Trail will be open to motorized vehicles on Friday, June 19.

On March 27, the County closed the rail trail to motorized vehicles while the province was under a ‘state of emergency’.

The trail has remained open to the public for fresh air and passive uses, while practicing social distancing.

The County asks that ALL rail trail users respect each other and maintain appropriate physical distancing and group numbers.

The province is upping the number of people allowed together in a group to 10, effective Friday, June 12.
