Long awaited bridge replacements get funded

MPP Laurie Scott announced the approval of federal funding for “long awaited” infrastructure projects in Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes and Brock.

Over $2.5 million, from all three levels of government will be invested in projects in the county.

The South Wilberforce Bridge Replacement project in Highlands East will receive an investment of over $1.4 million and the Sedgwick Bridge Replacement project in Minden will receive over $1.1 million.

MPP Scott says “these projects will provide much needed job creation helping our community recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
