A recent donation of five thousand dollars to the Dorset Community Health Care Hub is helping it along the way to construction. It was presented to the Health Care Team by the Dorset Lions Club. President Steve Tyrrell said it was raised through local activities and they chose to donate to the health hub because they felt it was a worthwhile project. The Health Care Hub would service residents and cottagers within Dorset, Lake of Bays and Algonquin Highlands. The team says they’re expecting it to be open sometime this summer.
