The HKPR District Health Unit wants to get the message out about the role they play in our community, so they’ve created a video to highlight their annual report. Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Lynn Noseworthy says public health isn’t something a lot of people are aware of so they wanted to give an overview. Some public health nurses and promoters in the video explain the one-on-one work they do in the community and the active role they play to improve health and safety.
