Body Of Missing Scarborough Man Found In Minden Lake

The OPP have located the body of a man who was reported missing last week.

Haliburton Highlands police were called to assist Toronto Police Service with a missing person investigation near Minden, on Thursday, shortly after 4 p.m.

On Sunday, just before 5:30 p.m., police were called to the north end of Minden Lake, where a resident had located a male body near their dock.

Police are confirming the body to be that of 55-year-old Robert Smith.

A post mortem examination is being scheduled at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto.

At this time, investigators do not believe foul play was involved.
