The Minden Pride Committee would like to donate a “rainbow bench” to be located along the Riverwalk.
Councillor Pam Sayne says the bench meets the requirements as provided by Minden Hills’s Economic Development, Destination and Marketing Officer Emily Stonehouse, who has previously researched options for the committee.
The bench is being donated to Minden Hills out of a Federal Grant received, and if approved, will be installed by the municipality, and the Pride committee will provide a plaque for the bench.
The Minden Pride Committee is a member of the Haliburton County Community Cooperative.
