A few hunters are looking forward to starting fresh this New Year after they end December with some hunting fines. Two men were charged with hunting within 400 meters where bait was placed for waterfowl and they each have to pay one thousand dollars. One of them is also being charged for placing bait before opening day so he’ll have to pay an additional one thousand dollars. Their firearms were also seized until they pay their fines and they’re banned from hunting waterfowl for one year.
