Snowmobile trails in Haliburton County and surrounding areas remain closed. Enthusiasts are asked to park their sleds and be patient. Conditions are very bad and potentially dangerous. The ground, waterways, and swamps are not frozen, and there isn’t a snow base to protect you or your sled from any obstacles on the trails. There are reports of a few limited trails north-east of Sault St. Marie and north of Timmins.
