Dysart et al residents have a Household Hazardous Waste Day, August 15.
If you have old paint, household batteries, fluorescent and CFL light bulbs, pesticides, propane cylinders or used motor oil, bring it to the Harcourt Landfill along with your valid Dysart landfill card.
Following COVID-19 safety protocols, residents are asked not to exit their vehicles, and let landfill staff unload your hazardous waste.
It’s happening this Saturday from 9am until noon, at the Harcourt landfill on Packard Road in Harcourt.
