The tanker truck drawing water at the boat launch on Head Lake in Haliburton will be finished by the end of the week.
It’s expected that the paving of the main lanes on County Road 1 will be finished Friday.
County Councillor Andrea Roberts said she had received many complaints regarding the large tanker truck at the already congested boat launch and parking lot, up to 4 and 5 times a day.
Director of Public Works, Craig Douglas advised that Fowler construction was unable to take water from their own pond due to lack of significant rainfall, requiring the use of Head Lake water.
The project moves forward to completing the shoulders, by the end of August.
