One person has died after a single-vehicle crash on Gelert Road in Minden Hills on Sunday.
The crash happened around 4:35 PM. The car was going northbound, but crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and ended up in the ditch. Police report the car rolled after leaving the road.
57-year-old Darlene Thomas from Haliburton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple OPP units went to the scene including a Technical Traffic Collision Inspector. Gelert Road was closed for a number of hours while officers investigated, but the stretch of road has since re-opened.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
