Health Unit launching survey on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected you

How has COVID-19 affected you?

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit are trying to answer that question by launching a new survey. The survey is available on the Health Unit’s website.

Questions range from the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on people’s mental and physical health, changes to your behaviour, and how you think the Health Unit has done responding to the virus.

“We know COVID-19 is having an impact on people in the tri-county area, but how much of an impact, where, and who is being particularly affected is harder to gauge,” said Epidemiologist with the HKPR District Health Unit Andrew Harris. “This survey is designed to paint a clearer picture of how COVID-19 is affecting our communities so that the Health Unit can be better informed and able to more effectively respond to pandemic challenges and concerns.”

The Health Unit estimates the survey takes between 15 and 20 minutes to complete and it has to be done in one sitting.
