A fraud investigation in Algonquin Highlands has a warrant out for the arrest of a former Stanhope Airport Manager. According to the OPP, Duane Hicks had leased hangars at the airport to individuals, invoiced them from his personal company and collected the money that was paid to him for the hangar rentals.
After an investigation that started in the summer of 2013, he’s being charged with two counts of theft by person required to account. An arrest warrant has been issued and police believe he’s residing now in Alberta.
