Trillium Lakelands District School Board is opening up kindergarten registration soon. From January 26 to February 6, parents in Haliburton County can register their child for junior or senior kindergarten programs starting in September. Each program follows the Ontario curriculum and offers mini-lessons through activity centres, artwork and learning spaces for the children. The school board says parents can help develop their child’s listening skills before they start kindergarten. Parents can go to their closest elementary school to register, or visit the TLDSB website for more information.
