Health Unit reports new COVID-19 cases in Haliburton for first time since weekend

Two cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Haliburton by the Health Unit.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit says there are now four active cases of the virus in Haliburton.

The new cases are the first to be reported in Haliburton since January 3rd.

There have been a total of 36 cases of the coronavirus in Haliburton with 32 of them marked as resolved by the Health Unit and no deaths.

The Health Unit has reported a total of 627 COVID-19 cases between Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes (303), and Northumberland (288). In Kawartha Lakes, 239 cases have been resolved and 22 people have died. For Northumberland, the Health Unit says 252 cases have been resolved and three people have died.
