Two new cases of COVID-19 is being reported in Haliburton by the Health Unit.

It puts the active case count for the region at six.

There have been a total of 45 cases of the coronavirus in Haliburton with 39 of them marked as resolved by the Health Unit and no deaths.

The Health Unit has reported a total of 775 COVID-19 cases over the weekend between Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes (377), and Northumberland (353). In Kawartha Lakes, 301 cases have been resolved and 23 people have died. For Northumberland, the Health Unit says 307 cases have been resolved and six people have died.
