Algonquin Highlands Reeve Carol Moffatt summed up county budget talks today when she said each department will have to make compromises. Councilors continue to say Haliburton County is looking at a tough budget year. Committee meetings held today are looking at budgets for roads, bridges, tourism and emergency services. Each report will go to county council for final decisions at the next meeting on January 28.
