The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit’s (HKPR) top doctor Ian Gemmill will be hosting two “Talk With The Doc” sessions.
The first will be on February 16 from 1 to 2 PM, with the second happening from 1 to 2 PM on March 2nd.
“During the online information sessions, Dr. Gemmill will provide COVID-19 updates and answer the audience’s questions,” officials with HKPR explain. “Topics will include information on the local COVID-19 cases and transmission rates, the rollout of vaccines in Haliburton County, Northumberland County and the City of Kawartha Lakes, and HKPRDHU’s ongoing pandemic response.”
“We want local residents to be fully informed about what is going on in their communities when it comes to the pandemic,” Dr. Gemmill said. “These virtual information sessions are just another way in which we can engage with our residents and be sure everyone has the information that they need to help to protect themselves and to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
