Five COVID-19 cases were added locally on Monday by the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR) which is a one-day record.
The active case count is now at seven in Haliburton County.
A total of 58 cases of the coronavirus have now been reported in our region.
In HKPR’s latest update, zero tests in Haliburton returned positive for the N501Y mutation found in some variants of concern. Five tests came back positive for the mutation in Kawartha Lakes and 23 in Northumberland.
