The Dysart et al Emergency Control Group is reminding residents that parking will no longer be free in Haliburton starting on April 1st.
The group decided in January to keep the meters covered longer than usual this year. “Traditionally the covers are removed from the meters within the first week of January,” town officials explained at the time. “However, given that 2021 will be a year much different from other years, the Control Group thought it was best to leave the covers on. Help support local businesses by shopping local this year.”
