The active COVID-19 case count has hit double digits in Haliburton, according to our Health Unit’s latest update.
Four cases were added Monday in Haliburton, putting the active case count at 10.
A total of 66 cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported in Haliburton since the pandemic began.
The Health Unit reports one case has tested positive for the N501Y mutation that is found in some variants of concern. A total of 41 cases of the mutation were reported Monday with eight added in Kawartha Lakes and 32 in Northumberland.
