Seven new COVID-19 cases were reported in the County of Haliburton on Saturday.  

That places Haliburton at eight active cases of the virus with 15 high-risk contacts identified. 

The health unit added six recoveries and eight new cases from Kawartha Lakes placing it at 28 active cases.

In Northumberland, four recoveries and 13 new cases were reported bringing it up to 33 active cases. 

In addition, 12 more people tested positive for a variant of concern from Kawartha Lakes and four from Northumberland. 

Another 24 high-risk contacts were identified by the health unit on Saturday, ten more in Kawartha Lakes and 30 more in Northumberland.
