Haliburton at 12 active COVID-19 cases Thursday

The local health unit reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Haliburton today(Thursday).

The county now stands at a dozen active cases of the virus after no new recoveries were added. 

Kawartha Lakes saw three cases and three recoveries added keeping that town at 46 active cases. 

And for the second day now, the health unit reported more recoveries than cases in Northumberland, adding nine cases and 14 recoveries.

Northumberland now stands at 119 active cases, including one more hospitalization on Wednesday. 

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit did just under 4,000 tests for COVID-19 in the last six days.
