Two new COVID-19 cases in Haliburton Saturday

Two new cases of COVID-19 and one recovery were reported in Haliburton on Saturday. 

That places the county at ten active cases of the virus with two more local screening positive for a variant of concern**. 

The health unit added four cases and one recovery in Kawartha Lakes which now stands at 48 active cases.

In Northumberland, 11 new cases and ten recoveries bring place the county at 118 active cases.

Five more individuals screened positive for a variant of concern from Northumberland on Saturday, and one more in Kawartha lakes. 

**Even though the variants of concern have been counted in the data today it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in previous daily case counts.
