The local health unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 in Haliburton on Wednesday.
Three more residents recovered from the virus placing the County of Haliburton at eight active cases.
Six new cases were reported district-wide on Wednesday, four in Kawartha Lakes and two in Northumberland.
Over the past week, the HKPR’s health unit administered another 9,732 vaccine doses pushing the district to over 41,000 doses administered to date.
In Haliburton, a little under 65 percent of adults 65 to 79 years old, 60 percent of those 80 and older and more than a quarter of those 45 to 64 years old have received their first dose of a vaccine.
