Haliburton Highlands Museum hope for more community engagement this year

The Haliburton Highlands Museum saw visitor numbers go up last year, and they’re planning for an even better year in 2015. Museum Director Kate Butler says they’ve raised the profile of the museum in the community, and they want that to continue. She explains one of the goals they’re working towards.

Butler says they’re gearing up for another successful year by building on their successes last year.

She says their first focus this year is Maple Fest coming up on March Break.

Butler says they’re also looking to create new programming in some of their historical buildings and plan an annual celebration of Haliburton’s early settlers. To find out more about the Museum, visit their website by clicking here.
