The County of Haliburton saw one new case of COVID-19 and no recoveries added on Saturday.

In the last 2 weeks, the local health unit reported 10 cases of COVID-19 in Haliburton, five of which are currently active.

In addition, one more previously recorded case** from Haliburton screened positive for a variant of concern or VOC.

**(Even though VOCs were counted in today’s data, it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in a previous daily case count.)

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported 14 new cases in the rest of the district on Saturday, eight in Northumberland and six in Kawartha Lakes.
