The local health unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 in the County of Haliburton for the second day in a row on Wednesday.
One more county resident recovered on Tuesday with seven cases remaining active in Haliburton.
Nine cases were reported in the rest of the district today(Wednesday), six in Kawartha Lakes and three in Northumberland.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit did 578 tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
