This year’s Destination Guide for the Highlands are starting to make their way around the county and the province. The County’s Director of Tourism, Amanda Virtanen just made the announcement, saying the 40 thousand copies are about strengthening the My Haliburton Highlands brand. She says the new guide is an improvement from the old one, highlighting year-round signature events and connections with local businesses and organizations. Virtanen says they’ve already started distributing the copies which people can pick up free of charge.
