Haliburton Highlands OPP are asking for information from the public for help with a break and enter investigation.
The force says sometime between the evening of October 21 and the morning of October 22 a break-in occurred at the Remax real estate office located in downtown Haliburton. It was determined that several pieces of electronic equipment were stolen.
This incident is still under investigation and police are asking that anyone with information or video surveillance please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
The OPP would like to offer some safety tips to keep your properties and possessions safe:
– Install video surveillance at various locations around your property
– Install an alarm system
– Keep doors to vehicles and properties locked and do not leave valuable items out in plain view
– Install motion censored lights on your property
