Agnes Jamieson Gallery opens exhibit with art from across Canada

The Agnes Jamieson Gallery is launching an exhibit that doesn’t come around too often. Curator Laurie Carmount says the Winter in Canada exhibit will have entries from across Canada. She explains what inspired the idea:

Carmount says putting out a call for entries from across Canada isn’t something galleries do very often, so it will be a unique experience for people.

She sent the call out near the end of November and had around 75 entries submitted, but they could only accept 35, including some local artists.

The exhibit will be open from February 10 until March 21. The official unveil is on February 14 where people will have a chance to speak to some of the artists. For more information, visit their website by clicking here.
