Grade eight students in Minden and Haliburton will have access to free prom clothes this year. Some local residents have started the Make Dreams Come True clothing drive. They’re asking people to donate prom clothes and they’re also looking for people who can provide dry cleaning and alteration services. Organizers say the drive is meant to encourage students to be different and have the chance to express themselves. People can drop off clothing to JDH or Organic Times in Minden.
