School of the Arts sees increase in winter enrollment

Sixty new students joined Haliburton School of the Arts this semester, and Dean Sandra Dupret explains one of the reasons for the increase:

Dupret says because they couldn’t fit all the students in the fall semester, they offered a few of the courses this semester too and even more students signed up. She says they’ve seen an increase in demand for other courses as well. She explains just how much enrollment has increased:

When asked what makes HSTA so different from other colleges, Dupret explains that the college has a reputation for its instructors, studio time and unique experience, but she says it’s more than that.

Dupret says they are continuing to grow the courses they offer and she’s expecting the numbers to continue to go up.
