A missing child has been found safely in Wilberforce after being reported missing Thursday.
Provincial Constable Michael Melnychuk says the child was reported missing shortly after noon by a school in the Wilberforce area. Provincial police from Bancroft and Haliburton Highlands were called in to search for the child.
Thanks to a tip from a community member, Melnychuk says the child was found safe and returned to their family.
