The OPP is investigating reports of females being approached or followed in Haliburton Highlands.
The OPP says officers are investigating two separate incidents that occurred between April 25 and May 9 in Minden and Haliburton.
In April, a female was driving from Haliburton to Minden and believed a gold-coloured cube van was following her. Police say she then went to the detachment, and the van left the area. No description of the driver was obtained.
Earlier this week, a white pickup truck followed a female pedestrian in Haliburton, eventually asking her if she wanted to make money.
Police say the man, described by police as ‘having a darker complexion and spoke with a heavy accent, wearing a dirty grey tracksuit’, exited the vehicle and followed the victim on foot for a brief period.
The detachment says officers are investigating and remind everyone to be aware of their surroundings and personal safety.
