Haliburton Highlands OPP is looking for a person who tried to steal a vehicle’s wheels.
Police say patrolling officers interrupted the theft of tires and rims from a vehicle parked on Hwy 118, around 3:00 a.m. on July 14.
Officials say the suspect fled west on foot, and is believed to have been spotted near College Dr. three hours later. They add that officers tried to locate him with help from police dogs to no avail.
