The Minden Hills Cultural Centre is back with another year of outdoor movie screenings.
Every other Thursday until the end of the summer, the centre will play a different family-friendly movie under the stars, starting around 8:30 p.m.
This year’s lineup is:
- July 27: Secretariat (2010)
- Aug. 10: Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001)
- Aug. 24: Strange World (2022)
Admission is by donation, and attendees are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks. The township’s Robert Wong says donations go towards “future expansion and improvement of programming activities and events” at the centre.
Wong adds that in the event of inclement weather, the screening will be moved indoors to the nearby Welch Room. Notice will be posted on the township’s Facebook.
