The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit has launched its new website.
Officials say the redesign makes the site easier to navigate and more functional, with better mobile support and accessibility features.
Changes include a better navigation menu, online forms, health inspection results, and a community calendar among others. Officials add the redesign was a collaborative effort, informed by surveys and other community feedback.
“Our primary goal during the redesign and development process was to focus on what our residents and visitors value most in terms of public health information, and to ensure that content is organized in a logical way,” says Ashley Beaulac, the health unit’s Communication Services Manager. “After many months of hard work and dedication from so many of us here at the health unit we have produced a responsive and user-centric website that is accessible across all platforms and devices.”
