The Service Canada Outreach Team will be in Minden on Monday to serve community members needing help. The session will be held at the County of Haliburton administration office at 11 Newcastle Street between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Officials say there are a number of services residents can get help with including:
- Canadian Pension Plan / Old Age Security
- Guaranteed Income Supplement
- Social Insurance Number
- Passport application intake
The outreach session will be held at the County of Haliburton administration office at 11 Newcastle Street between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and between 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Appointments take anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the service needed. Walk-ins will be served on a limited basis, subject to availability.
