First up was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday, and today is Giving Tuesday. A movement to make the Tuesday that follows the American Thanksgiving weekend a time to donate to charities continues.
The Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation has announced that Wally Ozog, a long-time time supporter of the HHHS Foundation, will match Believe in the Magic of Giving donations up to $50,000 starting Nov. 28.
Foundation officials say Ozog has benefitted from the care provided by Haliburton Highlands Health Services and is delighted to be able to give back to his community by supporting health care in the Highlands.
