Donut lovers across Canada, including right here at home, helped raise a record-breaking amount of money for Special Olympics athletes last weekend.
Tim Hortons says $884,000 was raised nationally through the sale of Special Olympics Donuts this year.
Officials say 100 per cent of the proceeds are supporting athletes participating in Special Olympics programs and helps them access more opportunities to reach their full potential in sport and life.
