Police have arrested one person and seized a firearm in Minden.
Haliburton Highlands OPP says the evening of Feb. 7, officers executed an arrest warrant at a home in Minden.
Officials say the individual was arrested without incident, and is being charged with two counts each of assault and choking, as well as possession of a firearm without a licence, and careless storage of a firearm.
According to police, the accused was held for a bail hearing, and no other information will be released to protect the identity of the victim.
