UPDATE: Officials say a Bluetooth speaker battery had overheated, causing a “gas-like smell” in the building.
Minden’s Archie Stouffer Elementary School has evacuated its students and staff after reports of a gas smell.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board officials say everyone made it out safely and has been relocated to the Minden Arena.
They add fire officials are on scene to investigate the situation.
